An adult male was shot and wounded Friday night, June 19, in Tukwila’s McMicken neighborhood, prompting a police investigation and a public appeal for information.
Police said that officers responded to the 3600 block of S. 152nd Street (map below) and found an adult man who had been struck by gunfire. Medics treated the victim at the scene, but his current condition was unknown.
The department said South 152nd Street in the area of the shooting would be closed while investigators processed the scene and gathered evidence.

The 3600 block of South 152nd Street is in Tukwila’s McMicken neighborhood, a residential area near the city’s border with SeaTac and within a short distance of several schools and community facilities.
As of Friday evening, police had not released information about a suspect, a possible motive or whether any arrests had been made.
