Detectives with the Tukwila Police Department’s Special Emphasis Unit (SEU), supported by Tukwila SWAT, executed multiple search warrants on Thursday, May 22, 2025 as part of an ongoing investigation into two suspected narcotics dealers operating in the area.
One of the suspects targeted in the operation has a history of felony convictions and is legally prohibited from possessing firearms, according to police.
Additional search warrants related to the case are expected to be carried out later in the day, with more details to be released as the investigation progresses.
Authorities did not immediately disclose what substances or quantities were recovered, nor whether any arrests were made during the initial warrants.
The operation highlights an ongoing effort by Tukwila Police to disrupt drug trafficking in the community.
“Today’s operation is the culmination of an extensive investigation by our SEU detectives to identify, locate and arrest those responsible for the flow of illegal narcotics onto our streets,” the department said in a public statement.
