Bonney Watson Funeral Home in SeaTac is inviting the community to participate in its annual Día de los Muertos celebration from Oct. 28 to Nov. 2, 2024, honoring the memories of loved ones who have passed.
The event will feature a traditional ofrenda on display in the lobby at the funeral home, located at 16445 International Blvd. (map below).
Visitors are welcome to bring photos or mementos to the ofrenda between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily during the event, creating a space for reflection and remembrance.
As part of the celebration, Bonney Watson will host a special movie screening of Disney Pixar’s “Coco” on Friday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m. Light food and refreshments will be provided, adding a festive atmosphere to the evening as the community gathers to celebrate life and honor loved ones.
This free community event offers a meaningful way to observe Día de los Muertos, a holiday deeply rooted in Mexican culture that celebrates the spiritual connection between the living and the deceased. Bonney Watson invites everyone to join in this celebration of life, culture, and community.
