‘Tis the season for package thefts, and Tukwila Police are offering some tips to help keep your holiday deliveries out of the hands of the Grinch or just thieves in general:
- For the holidays, you can’t beat home sweet home! Choose a delivery date when you’re home to bring packages inside ASAP.
- Check it twice! Use the included tracking to know when your items will be delivered.
- Your order is coming to town! If you’ve had past package thefts or just want to be on the safe side, consider getting your order delivered to an Amazon locker.
- We’re gonna find out who is naughty or nice. If you are a victim of a package theft, please report in-progress (it’s happening right now) incidents to 911.
- Give us a jingle! If the theft has already occurred, call our non-emergency number at 206-241-2121.
