The City of Tukwila is currently seeking community representatives to serve on a new Fire Advisory Task Force.
What is the Fire Advisory Task Force?
The Task Force will advise the City Council and the public on financial recommendations and fire operations in pursuit of a sustainable financial model that has the community’s support. The Task Force will include firefighters, City staff, elected officials, residents, and business representatives to ensure a broad range of expertise is included.
Vacant Positions
The City of Tukwila is seeking residents and members of the business community to serve on the Task Force. Anyone with an interest in fire service is encouraged to apply.
Members will be expected to reliably attend weekly meetings which may be adjusted based on the flow of information to be discussed.

The city expects to appoint the membership of the Committee in August 2021.
