Volunteers are needed for a ‘Restoration at Riverton’ work party on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Green Tukwila will be hosting its first public volunteer work party at Riverton Park.

“We all have walked by and seen the ivy climbing the large trees and creeping its way towards the walking path, enough is enough.”

Local Steward Debbie G and Parks Staff, Olena Perry need help to make an impact.

All tools/training provided.

Green Tukwila is following Public Health Guidelines to keep volunteers and staff safe during work parties.

Work parties are limited to 12 people. If you need to cancel let us know so we can open up the opportunity. If work parties fill up we may open a second work party on the same day.

All participants must:

    • Wear a mask at all times.
    • Social distance, 6 feet away from all other households.
    • Tools will be assigned and not shared.
    • Please eat before attending the work party and bring your own gloves. If you do not have gloves we will provide gloves for you.

No restroom on site but there is a public port-a-potty at the Tukwila Community Center by the Spray Park.
