As of last week, Tukwila’s brand-new Fire Station 51 is now serving the community with full-time 24 hour staffing 365 days a year.

The new Station 52 – scheduled to open in January of next year – will be the new headquarter station. This means the original Station 51 will continue to operate until then to house Battalion 351 and the administration.
The new Station 51 will have a single engine company responding and there will also be a reserve engine stored there.
“Unfortunately, with COVID-19 we will not be able to host a public gathering to celebrate the new Station (for now), but look for a video coming soon with a full virtual tour,” Tukwila Fire said.
