Lucia is a 5-year-old female Rottweiler who came to RASKC as a stray and is looking for her forever home.
Lucia is a shy girl and would love a home with a family who can help her come out of her shell. Her outgoing side will surely emerge if someone would give her the time and love she needs and deserves! At the shelter, Lucia has a polite and quiet demeanor and seems to enjoy the company of calm, slow, quiet people the best. She is most likely to thrive and succeed in a home where things are predictable and low key.
At 84 pounds, Lucia is a bit overweight. Her new family will need to work with their vet to help Lucia get down to a healthy weight so she can live a long and active life! A gentle and loving girl who likes to take things slow, Lucia may get nervous in new situations so is looking for a family who understands that she might take some time to warm up. Once she gets to know you, she will be a very devoted friend!
Lucia is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! Her adoption comes with many benefits in addition to the love and snuggles she will give, including 30 days of opt-in health insurance through Trupanion and a discount on training through GoodPup.
