Meet Gibson, RASKC’s Pet of the Week:

Gibson is a 5-year-old male who has been at the shelter since February 26, when he was brought in by a good Samaritan. He is a 70-pound spirited dog who loves to play fetch and walks nicely on a leash!
Gibson can be shy and unsure of new things and people at first. He is a huge foodie though, so can be won over with treats! He takes treats gently and will happily sit and shake for them. With a little time and patience, Gibson will warm up to you and you’ll see how sweet he is!
The person who brought Gibson in said he was very excited when he met the other dogs in their home. When meeting other dogs in a new home, he would do best with a slow introduction. Gibson is still working on his manners, so would do best with a family who is willing to work with him to help him become the best dog he can be!
Gibson is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! His caregivers mentioned that he appears to be potty-trained as well! His adoption comes with many benefits in addition to the love and snuggles he will give, including 30 days of opt-in health insurance through Trupanion and a discount on training through GoodPup.
As Pet of the Week, Gibson’s adoption fee has been reduced.
If you and your family are looking for a dog with a fun-loving personality, Gibson may be the one for you! You can visit Gibson at RASKC on weekdays from Noon to 5 p.m. and weekends from Noon to 4 p.m.
