The Tukwila Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a woman accused of organized retail theft last week at Old Navy.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025 at around 7:30 p.m., when the suspect entered the store, grabbed a large handful of jeans, and fled without attempting to conceal her actions.
“This photo is exactly what organized retail crime looks like,” the department stated. “Thieves that do not care or even try to conceal what they’re doing.”
The woman is wanted on felony second-degree theft charges, which will be filed upon her positive identification.
Tukwila Police are also working with other law enforcement agencies to determine if the suspect has been involved in similar thefts in other jurisdictions.
“As we’ve previously stated, if you’re here to commit Organized Retail Crime (ORC) related thefts, you are going to be put on blast, you will be identified and you will be booked into jail,” police said.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect is encouraged to email Officer Gentile at c.gentile@tukwilawa.gov, call the non-emergency number at (206) 241-2121, or send a private message through the department’s social media channels.
