A man has died following a stabbing on Friday morning, Jan. 10, 2025 in the 14400 block of Tukwila International Boulevard, Tukwila Police confirmed.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide.
Officers responded to the scene and performed life-saving measures on the victim until the Puget Sound Fire Department arrived and took over.
Sadly, despite live-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have indicated that the stabbing does not appear to be random, and detectives from the Major Crimes Unit (MCU) are leading the investigation.
As a precaution, Foster High School and Showalter Middle School were placed under lockdown following the incident. The lockdown has since been lifted, and there are no indications that students or staff were directly involved in the altercation.
The identity of the victim has not been released, and police are urging anyone with information to contact them as the investigation continues.
