Tukwila Police are investigating a series of armed robberies believed to have been committed by juvenile suspects in the area on Wednesday night, July 17, 2024.

Police said that the incidents began with a robbery at a gas station in the 13100 block of Interurban Ave S. in Renton, where the suspects – described as juvenile males – fled the scene in a stolen vehicle.

Shortly after, the suspects are believed to have robbed a convenience store in the 600 block of Strander Blvd. in Tukwila.

These individuals are also suspected of being involved in several other similar robberies across South King County.

Tukwila’s Major Crimes Unit (MCU) is collaborating with other law enforcement agencies to investigate these incidents. Authorities have highlighted an ongoing trend of juveniles committing violent offenses, often while armed, and are urging the community to remain vigilant.
