The Tukwila Food Pantry is in need of clothing and basic necessity donations for kids and adults.
The Riverton Park United Methodist Church – which is attached to the pantry – is currently home to a large number of families awaiting housing assistance. Many of them are currently living in tents including quite a few children, from infants to teenagers.
As the weather has begun to turn and temperatures begin dropping, they need proper clothing, footwear and basics to get them by until housing becomes available which can take months or longer.
If you have any of the following, please consider donating to these families (*All sizes are needed (kids & adults)*:
- Coats, hoodies and sweaters
- Winter shoes & or work boots
- Winter hats & gloves
- Towels
- Blankets
- Sleeping bags
