On Wednesday morning, Aug. 30, 2023, Tukwila Police officers located a stolen U-Haul in the 3400 block of S. 140th Street.
Police said an adult male was observed by officers walking away from the vehicle and was quickly detained.
“He was found to be a collector of various types of warrants and taken into custody for the warrants,” police said.
A loaded firearm was recovered from his person while being searched.
“Being a convicted felon, he is ineligible to possess firearms. The plot thickened from there…”
Also with the suspect, officers recovered a bag of Fentanyl, narcotic paraphernalia, stolen credit cards, counterfeit $100 bills and pepper spray.
With the stolen U-Haul, a stolen vehicle trailer and a stolen vehicle on the vehicle trailer were also recovered.
The suspect was booked into King County Jail.
