Tukwila Police this week arrested two burglary suspects they allege had burglarized and vandalized local businesses.

Police say that on Monday morning, Oct. 10, 2022, officers responded to a commercial burglary in progress in the 12400 block of Tukwila International Blvd. (map below).

Here’s more from Tukwila P.D.:

Upon arriving at the location, officers located a stolen vehicle on the premises and two adult male suspects. A pile of items that had been removed from within the property and staged near a fence were also located. Both suspects were detained without incident.

One of the suspects is a prolific repeat offender and no stranger to law enforcement. This particular suspect has been victimizing businesses and individuals in Tukwila dating back at least six years. He is associated with theft, burglary, narcotics and other crimes in Tukwila and multiple other cities as well and has multiple recent felony robbery convictions and has active warrants out of several cities.

You may also remember him from an incident back in May of 2021 in which officers responded to a burglary at a vacant residence and located a vehicle registered to this same suspect out front. The suspect returned to the scene trying to play it cool in an attempt to get get his car back which resulted in his arrest for active warrants.

Both suspects were taken to jail to be booked. One was booked but our repeat offender was declined after doing his usual routine of claiming to have swallowed heroin. His charges have been forwarded to the prosecutor.
