A single vehicle with one occupant sustained minor injuries after crashing in utility poles in the Allentown neighborhood near S. 124th Street and 49th Ave S. in Tukwila (map below) Wednesday afternoon, Mar. 9, 2022.
Multiple poles and power lines were downed by the crash, and electricity was knocked out for 98 Seattle City Light customers.
City Light says that power restored around 2:46 a.m. Thursday morning.
Tukwila Police say that the roadway at the scene of the collision will be closed until at least this evening.
Crews are on the scene now surveying the damage.
Police advise using alternate routes, and to avoid using the 129th Street bridge into Allentown.
