Thursday morning at around 10:30 a.m. at the southbound Interurban exit off I-5 (map below), a fully-loaded concrete truck driven by a fully-loaded driver drove off a ramp too fast, crossed the centerline and smashed into a King County Sheriff’s Deputy.
The Deputy suffered a broken leg, and is in stable condition.
Police say the 49-year old male driver of the concrete truck was evaluated at Harborview and subsequently arrested for Vehicular Assault due to suspected impairment.
