Two juvenile suspects from Kent and SeaTac have pleaded guilty in connection with a 2025 shooting in Tukwila that left one victim paralyzed and another seriously injured, according to the Tukwila Police Department.

Police said officers responded in January 2025 to reports of a shooting in the 200 block of Andover Park W. Investigators determined that two individuals were struck by gunfire during what police described as a gun battle.

According to Tukwila Police, one of the victims was left paralyzed and the other suffered serious injuries.

Surveillance video captured a suspect fleeing the scene shortly after the shooting, police said. However, the camera footage did not clearly show the vehicle’s license plate.

Detectives with the department’s Major Crimes Unit used the Flock camera system to locate the vehicle believed to be involved, according to police. Investigators noted bullet holes in the rear window of the vehicle.

Police said detectives later identified the driver after serving search warrants for the vehicle and phone records. The investigation led to charges against two juvenile males from Kent and SeaTac.

According to the Tukwila Police Department, the primary suspect pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm, third degree assault and unlawful discharge of a firearm. A second suspect pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm.

During the investigation, Major Crimes Unit detectives also recovered five firearms, including several equipped with Glock switches that convert a Glock pistol into a fully automatic weapon, police said.

Authorities said the firearms were seized and removed from circulation by detectives.
