A juvenile was detained three times in one evening after repeatedly returning to the scene of a disturbance at a Tukwila retail location, according to the Tukwila Police Department.

Officers responded to a report of approximately six males damaging property at the business. When officers arrived, they detained an adult male and a juvenile who were part of the group. Police said the remaining individuals became aggressive with arresting officers, prompting a priority response from additional officers to help control the situation.

According to police, the detained adult male was found in possession of a pistol and a substance consistent with narcotics. He was booked into jail on charges related to the firearm and narcotics.

The juvenile was initially trespassed from the location and given a ride to the light rail station to catch a bus home to Renton, police said. About 30 minutes later, officers spotted him back at the same location and detained him again for trespassing. His mother responded and took custody of him.

As his mother attempted to leave, the juvenile fled from her vehicle on foot, according to police.

Police said he later returned to the business again and was located by officers spitting on patrol cars. He was detained for the third time that evening.

Juvenile detention declined to accept him for booking due to the nature of the offenses, police said. Officers transported him to his mother’s residence in Renton and released him there.
