Tukwila Mayor Thomas McLeod is inviting residents to attend the city’s annual State of the City address on Wednesday, April 29, at the Foster High School Performing Arts Center (map below).

Doors will open at 5 p.m., followed by the mayor’s presentation at 6 p.m. and a reception at 7:15 p.m.

The annual address will provide an overview of the city’s accomplishments over the past year and outline priorities and goals for 2026.

“This is an opportunity to hear about what the City of Tukwila has accomplished in the past year and highlights about the vision for 2026,” McLeod said in an announcement from the city.

The event will also feature informational tables where attendees can meet city staff and community partners and learn about local services and programs. Light refreshments will be served.

City officials said the event is open to all participants. Those needing accommodations are asked to contact the city at least seven days in advance.

“I am looking forward to this event and hope you can join me,” the Mayor said.
