A beverage shop at Westfield Southcenter Mall in Tukwila was temporarily closed last week after a health inspection found an imminent health hazard, according to Public Health – Seattle & King County.
Public Health reported that Boba Smoothies, located at 2800 Southcenter Mall, was ordered closed on Mar. 12 after inspectors determined the business was operating without hot water available.
Health officials said the lack of hot water constituted an “imminent health hazard” under the food code.
According to Public Health records, the establishment was allowed to reopen on Mar. 13 after the issue was addressed.
Public Health said information about restaurants closed by the department remains available online for at least seven days after a business reopens.
