Nominations are now open for the inaugural “Best of Seattle Southside Awards,” giving residents a chance to recognize their favorite local restaurants and cafes in Tukwila, SeaTac and Des Moines.
The awards, organized by Explore Seattle Southside, will spotlight culinary excellence across the region.
Organizers invite all to nominate outstanding local restaurants and cafes in Tukwila, SeaTac, and Des Moines in the following categories:

Deadline is Sept. 30
Community members are encouraged to submit nominations by Sept. 30.
Voting for finalists will open October 13, 2025, and winners will be announced in February 2026.
Organizers say the goal is to celebrate the diverse food scene in South King County while promoting local businesses to both residents and visitors.
