A suspect with an outstanding felony warrant was arrested Saturday night, June 21, after Tukwila Police linked him to a series of vehicle prowls near Southcenter Parkway.

According to the Tukwila Police Department, officers had responded to multiple reports of vehicle break-ins in the area. While leaving the scene of one of the incidents, an officer spotted a vehicle that matched images shared by a witness.

The suspect had just exited the vehicle and entered a nearby store when officers detained him without incident.

Upon further investigation, police learned the man had an active felony warrant for second-degree theft.

He was booked into jail for the outstanding warrant.

His vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant as part of the ongoing investigation into the vehicle prowling cases.
